Maid

Despite many issues arise good and especially bad one, there are growing number of couples, parents that still looking and hiring maid (sometimes called servant, pembantu rumah, amah etc). Will this trend continue? Will there be a stop to this or people just forget about the issues and get on with it, deal with it. Such as if the maid is not suitable sent her back. If she is lazy punish her etc.

This morning, when we came back home, we found the next door neighbour's maid is crying and said to me: " kalau saya di pecat.....boleh saya kerja di tempat tuan? Tadi saya cuma mau jumpa teman depan rumah tapi majikan saya tutupin pagar nya jadi ga bisa masuk!"

This happened at 5.30am in the morning! You may wonder what is she doing getting up early in the morning, going out of the house pre text of seeing her friend, a maid from another neighbour. You may also wonder how many times this has happened over the last one month, two months or even the last 12 months! You may also wonder how many "maids" doing just about the same thing in Brunei Darussalam!
